₹ 10 Lakh Bounty On Lawrence Bishnoi’s Brother, Added To Most-Wanted List
Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, is wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence.
New Delhi:
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has recently included Anmol Bishnoi, the sibling of imprisoned criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, in its list of top wanted individuals.
An award of ₹10 lakh has been declared by the anti-terrorism bureau for the capture of Anmol Bishnoi, who is being sought in relation to a shooting incident outside the Mumbai home of Bollywood star Salman Khan earlier this year.
Nine accused, among them the Bishnoi brothers, were also charged by the NIA in 2022 for participating in a plot to “gather funds, enlist young individuals to execute terrorist activities in Delhi and various regions of the nation,” as well as “assassinating notable figures.
Accused in the case concerning the shooting outside Mr. Khan’s Bandra residence in Mumbai in April included Anmol Bishnoi and Lawrence Bishnoi, the latter being currently incarcerated in the Sabarmati central prison in Ahmedabad, along with Canadian gangster Goldie Brar.
Five members of the Bishnoi gang, including Dhananjay aka Ajay Kashyap aka Nahvi, Gaurav Bhatia, Waspi Khan aka Wasim Chikna, Rizwan Khan aka Javed, and Deepak Hawa Singh aka John, were apprehended by the Navi Mumbai police in this particular instance.
Police asserted in June that following the arrests, they had also discovered a scheme to attack the actor while he was en route to his farmhouse near Panvel in Navi Mumbai.
Anmol Bishnoi’s name was also linked to the murder investigation involving former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique. The 66-year-old NCP leader was fatally shot by three individuals in Mumbai, right outside the office of his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique, on October 12th.
Anmol Bishnoi’s Speech To Shooters In Salman Khan House Firing
In the evening of April 14th, the peace of Mumbai’s Bandra area was shattered by the echoes of gunfire when two individuals on bikes discharged several rounds near Salman Khan’s home.
The elaborate indictment highlighted the sequence of events preceding the assault on the actor’s residence, uncovering an extensive dialogue between Anmol Bishnoi, purportedly orchestrating the incident from abroad, and the implicated gunmen.
Anmol Bishnoi delivered a 9-minute speech to boost the morale of shooters Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, encouraging them as they aimed to make a mark in history through their actions.
The chargesheet outlined that the scheme was devised across multiple months, spanning from August 2023 to April 2024.
New Version: The Bishnoi gang’s plans to procure sophisticated weaponry from Pakistan, such as AK-47s, AK-92s, M16 rifles, and the Turkish-manufactured Zigana pistol, have been uncovered. This particular firearm was employed in the fatal shooting of Punjabi singer-turned-politician Sidhu Moose Wala in May 2022.
A group comprising around 60 to 70 people, as revealed in the chargesheet, meticulously monitored the whereabouts of Mr. Khan. Their surveillance extended to various locations, including his Mumbai residence, Panvel farmhouse, and the Goregaon Film City, a frequent site for his film shootings.
