Apple M4 MacBook Pro, iMac And More To Launch Next Week: What We Expect To See
Recently, Apple introduced the iPad Mini 7; however, the significant M4 Mac upgrades are anticipated to be revealed next week without a formal launch event.
It is possible that the long-awaited moment is approaching with Apple potentially revealing the upcoming Mac lineup powered by the M4 chip next week. This information has been shared by the well-known Mark Gurman from Bloomberg on Wednesday, aligning with his previous forecast of a launch by the end of the month for the new MacBook Pro and various other models.
Gurman has mentioned that Apple plans to invite specific media representatives for a hands-on experience with the new Mac devices, rather than opting for a large-scale launch event to unveil these products.
Apple has just unveiled the latest iteration of the iPad Mini 7 via a press release and various media outlets. Speculations suggest that the tech giant may not hold a formal event to introduce the M4 Macs, as there have been no invitations sent out thus far. If the launch is indeed slated for next week, it appears increasingly unlikely. Interestingly, a Russian YouTuber has already leaked and unboxed the M4 MacBook Pro, alleging to have acquired it ahead of its official release.
Apple may be feeling the heat due to the leaked video showcasing the rumored M4 MacBook Pro. The tech giant is known for its tight-lipped approach when it comes to unreleased products and updates. In the footage, the M4 processor label prominently displayed on the box of the MacBook Pro is accompanied by specifications such as 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage, increasing anticipation among eager fans.
Reports suggest that the main focus of the M4 chip will be on enhancing overall performance, with one particular Mac model set to undergo substantial changes. Speculations point towards a potential release of a new Mac mini model later this year, as indicated by an analyst.
According to reports, Apple is discontinuing the 8GB RAM model for MacBooks and will now be launching its lineup with a minimum of 16GB RAM, in line with the new macOS version that integrates Apple Intelligence features.
