Toll from Israeli strike near hospital climbs to 13, say Lebanese officials

On Monday night, a building located opposite the primary government hospital in the capital was targeted by an airstrike.

The Health Ministry of Lebanon has reported that the number of fatalities resulting from an Israeli attack close to a major hospital in Beirut has risen to 13, while many others have been injured.

Footage shared on social platforms revealed the airstrike targeting a structure opposite the primary government hospital in the city. According to the ministry’s announcement on Tuesday, 57 individuals sustained injuries during the attack. The videos depicted the impact of the strikes in proximity to the hospital’s main entrance.

Israel claims to focus on targeting militants and making efforts to minimize civilian casualties.
